AJ's Power Source, Inc. was founded in 1987 as an exclusive respresentative for power supplies in the Southeast. Because individual power supply companies often fill only niche markets, we visualized and became one of the first representatives to specialize in power only - respresenting up to 25 selected power supply companies from around the world. As time progressed, our customer base began to require more and more value added services. We began by building rack mounted power assemblies utilizing the many sources of power supplies that we already had. We became the first certified ATT and Astec VARs for the new high density DC/DC converters. We rapidly became a nationwide company doing business with several Fortune 500 companies. In 1996, we spun off the manufacturers rep business by forming Current Solutions, Inc., thus allowing us to concentrate fully on value added manufacturing at AJ's Power Source. At this time, we are focusing on hot swap redundant systems for VME and CPCI products using switching power supplies from Integrated Power and Meanwell, and high density DC/DC Converters from Astec, Lambda, Lucent, Victor, RO Associates, and Power Cube.
